Tiffany's Trip - Part I
So, a week into our New York adventure, we were lucky enough to have Tiffany join us for a few days! We had a lot of fun and here’s a look at some of the things we did.
Saturday morning we went and grabbed a traditional NY breakfast, bagels with cream cheese and coffee, and had breakfast on the steps of the Met. Here’s Tiff, in one of her classic poses, enjoying the morning.

day 6 in the big apple
it’s almost been a full week already! i can hardly believe it. this week’s been full of settling into the apartment and my first week of work.
first, the apartment. it looked a lot bigger when we first saw it… the space almost had a glow about it that day. the glow isn’t gone, in fact i’m sure it will come back quite soon, but right now, it’s just a little...
Sara in the City
that’s right, folks. i’ve finally made the leap of faith to nyc. literally, it was a total leap of faith to actually leave my job, a city i’ve come to love over the past 2 years, and the mid-west. but, here i am, living on the ues with my dear friend from gi, sarah. that’s the good thing about this roommate situation, i’m pretty sure no one will have a problem...

Best Buy: Frye look-a-likes
These boots have been the BEST BUY of the season for me! Seriously, a real steal. With a price tag of $40, these rough and tumble biker boots garner compliments EVERY time I wear them. I love pairing them with skinny jeans, cardigans and fun scarfs. The boots also look great with brown hosiery and fun fall dresses. It’s best to pair the tough boots with more feminine pieces to create a...

Part II: Style File, Hillary Frost
After snapping photos of Hillary Frost, she answered a few questions about personal style and what inspires her. Here’s what she had to say:
1. Describe your personal style.
I’d describe my personal style as a mix of classic pieces that never go out of style and trendy prints. Typically, I pair a trendy top with a classic “never-goes-out-of-style” cardi, basic skinny jeans, and fun flats....
Dreams, Intentions and the Power of YOU
whatiwore:
WhatIWore: People who know me in real life know that I love to quote The Secret and truly believe in good things happening to me, and think about life with a lot of joy and positivity. Its the only way! One of my favorite parts of the Secret is “You can have, do or be anything you want”
This is something I put out in the Universe about two weeks before I started What I Wore (on my...

Style File: Hillary Frost
Fellow ad girl, Hillary Frost, is the star of a centered mode’s first Style File. I chose to profile Hillary for a number of reasons: her style is polished and pulled together, she selects pieces that work for her and there’s always a trend element in every look.
Take Hillary’s first look: The jeans and cardigan are classic pieces that will never go out of style, while the hot...

Online Inspiration
It seems as though I have NO fall/winter clothes to wear an I hate that. After doing a little online shopping, I found lots of goodies that I’m coveting:
1. The Arctic Charm Dress from ModCloth
This dress would be perfect to wear on a cold winter day. The polar bear details are so cute and far more interesting than a typical fair isle sweater. I would pair it with a fun pair of tights and...

Eric: Wowsers.
Me: You like?
Eric: I can't decide.
Me: I think it'd be really good for work.
Eric: It reminds me of a reindeer sweater.

Saturday Fun!
The sun is out, the weather’s better than it has been all week, and I’ve had a fabulous breakfast. What better way to spend my Saturday than trading in some clothes at ATC? Let’s hope I make some money and find some finds!
